Benevolently Botryoidal is one of two large statement pieces in Chakra Gem Jewel's inventory comprised mostly of druzy bubbles - or better known as "Botryoidal Formations". (Pronounced: "Buh-Troy-Dahl") The emergence of Botryoidal nodules are formed by the slow deposition of mineral materials around a central nucleus. As more and more material is added, the surface becomes rounded and bumpy, like a cluster of grapes. The mineral material can come from a variety of sources, including water, volcanic gases, or mineral-rich solutions. (Source: Earthly Secrets)
The Highlights:Starting off strong with a smooth and beautiful polish, we see the lapidist went over this one several times to bring out the finite details including small but colorful banding around the perimeter. 2/3 of the front, is filled with gorgeous pink and peach DRUZY bubble formations with red raspberry segments. The back side is covered with 1/3 of the same gorgeous and well-formed bubbles. The primary color of the piece is a stunning pink with blue and lilac undertones. Perhaps the most unassuming part of this piece, is deep purple and quartzy river running the perimeter of the crystal.
